Job summary
The role builds and operates reliable, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure for software serving the auto repair industry. It improves system performance and availability through monitoring, incident response, CI/CD and infrastructure automation, and disaster recovery, using technologies such as AWS or GCP, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Prometheus. The role also partners with development, data, product, and QA teams and mentors junior DevOps team members.

Qualifications
- At least three years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of cloud environments, preferably AWS or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code, such as Terraform.
- Experience with automation tools.
- Expertise in Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or a similar scripting language.
- Experience designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot critical issues in high-pressure environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, alerting, and incident response.
- Automate deployment, testing, and infrastructure management.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and failover solutions.
- Apply security and compliance best practices.
- Collaborate with development, data, product, and QA teams to improve reliability and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior DevOps team members.
