Site Reliability Engineer

Job summary

The Site Reliability Engineer role is essential for ensuring the reliability, observability, and security of systems within the infrastructure team. Responsibilities include implementing PagerDuty, developing Datadog instrumentation, and managing the lifecycle of credentials and encryption keys, all while adhering to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and PHI.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in SRE, infrastructure, systems, or a strong adjacent engineering background
• Familiarity with PagerDuty or a comparable on-call and incident-response tool
• Hands-on with Datadog or another observability platform
• Working understanding of secrets, certificate, and key management
• Careful and methodical with security and rotation tasks
• Eager to grow into broader SRE ownership

Responsibilities

• Continue the PagerDuty rollout across engineering teams
• Build in-app Datadog instrumentation
• Manage credential storage and rotation across environments
• Manage certificate issuance, renewal, and rotation
• Manage encryption key lifecycle and rotation
