Site Reliability Engineer

Job summary

Tha*** is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure high service levels and operational excellence for a Telecommunication solution deployed in the public cloud.

Qualifications

• Java development skill required
• Familiarity with Public Cloud (GCP, AWS), containers, microservices, CI/CD, and automation
• Experience setting up product monitoring and infrastructure
• Development experience in distributed systems or high availability context
• Familiarity with microservices development
• Participation in defining architectures, data structures, and algorithms with performance and security constraints
• Public cloud architect certification
• Interest in CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement
• Versatile and multi-tasking developer engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes
• Define and monitor Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs)
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations for emergency response and troubleshooting
• Conduct system performance analysis and capacity planning
• Implement symptom-based alerting and monitoring strategies using Datadog
• Lead blameless postmortems to identify root causes and implement fixes
• Partner with Cloud Security teams to implement security best practices
• Support customer relationships
• Interface with stakeholders to define solution improvement plans
• Own solution service availability
