Job summary
Design and implement a VMware Cloud Foundation-based private cloud as part of a multi-cloud strategy, ensuring operational quality, IT security, and cost efficiency. Build infrastructure automation and advance observability by applying SRE principles with Grafana Cloud, collaborating with IT and other departments to support reliable, scalable cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications
- At least five years of experience.
- Experience architecting and implementing VMware Cloud Foundation or an equivalent private cloud.
- High proficiency with Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
- Expertise in Linux or Unix; Windows experience is an advantage.
- Experience managing Kubernetes, VKS, or OpenShift environments.
- Understanding of software development principles and tools, including CI/CD, microservices, version control, and Scrum.
- Experience with Grafana and OpenTelemetry is an advantage.
- Experience with AI/ML concepts and technologies is an advantage.
- Focus on user experience, service availability, cost efficiency, and process optimization.
- Independent, structured working style and project management proficiency.
- Advanced English skills; German is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a private cloud based on VMware Cloud Foundation or equivalent technology.
- Contribute to the multi-cloud strategy while maintaining operational quality, IT security, and cost efficiency.
- Build infrastructure automation using an Infrastructure as Code approach.
- Advance observability by applying and sharing SRE principles using Grafana Cloud.
- Collaborate with IT colleagues and other departments.
