Site Reliability Engineer (West Coast)

Job summary

Sectigo is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design and implement solutions that enhance the reliability of their critical services.

Qualifications

• In lieu of degree, 2+ years of relevant experience acceptable
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems administration
• Knowledge of source control tools (Git preferred)
• Experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform preferred)
• Good understanding of container technology (Docker, Kubernetes preferred)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, or similar)
• Experience with non-cloud infrastructure
• Experience running a large-scale 24/7 production environment

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability of critical products and services
• Instantiate and maintain production infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
• Build and maintain monitoring of services using centralized logging and time series databases
• Automate deployments, administration, and monitoring following CI/CD practices
• Collaborate with engineering and information security teams to improve operability and security
• Participate in team on-call rotation
