Job summary

Peraton requires a Cloud Systems Engineer to support the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract at MacDill AFB, Florida, focusing on cloud platform design, engineering, and security compliance.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
• Minimum 3 years directly in Microsoft Azure or AWS Government with deep knowledge of IL distinctions

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud-based platforms/services
• Implement solutions with virtualization/containerization
• Author and enforce Bicep/Terraform/ARM templates
• Develop automated provisioning using IaC languages
• Build CI/CD pipelines in Azure or AWS DevOps/GitHub Actions
• Implement Azure Policy/Blueprints aligned to DoD Cloud Computing SRG
• Engineer Zero Trust security
• Establish secure connectivity between on-prem DoD networks and Azure/AWS Gov
• Support NetOps, systems/network sustainment, end-user/common device services
