Snowflake Infrastructure Architect

Job summary

The Snowflake Infrastructure Architect role is responsible for securing and automating the infrastructure for the Snowflake environment on Azure. Key responsibilities include configuring Azure Private Link, managing Terraform modules, and building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, while collaborating with security, data engineering, and DevOps teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Snowflake
• 5+ years of experience with SQL
• 3+ years of experience with Azure
• Experience configuring ADLS Gen2 storage integrations and managed identity access
• Experience managing network security groups and Snowflake network policies

Responsibilities

• Configure Azure Private Link, VNets, private endpoints, and DNS for Snowflake traffic.
• Wire up SAML/OAuth authentication and automate user provisioning via SCIM from Azure AD.
• Own Terraform modules for Snowflake and AzureRM providers with remote state in Azure Blob.
• Build Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions pipelines with PR-gated Terraform plan/apply.
• Store and auto-rotate Snowflake credentials in Azure Key Vault.
