Job summary

Conceptualize, deploy, and manage IT infrastructure for maintenance computers and software applications in military special vehicles. Automate deployment processes, build and operate container platforms, and manage subcontractors. Create process-oriented development documentation and implement IT security measures.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed degree in computer science or IT training, e.g., IT specialist for system integration or comparable.
• Proficient in administration and hardening of Windows operating systems.
• Good knowledge of script programming (Bash, Shell, Cygwin, InnoSetup).
• Basic knowledge of C++, CMake, Qt, Python, and NuGet.
• Proficient in automation solutions.
• Experience with databases.
• Experience in Requirements Engineering (e.g., with DOORS).
• Experience with PLM systems.
• Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to undertake occasional business trips.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, provide, and patch manage IT infrastructure for maintenance computers and software applications in military special vehicles.
• Automate deployment processes for complete maintenance computers, considering IT security requirements, in coordination with development, IT security, operations, and external partners.
• Build, operate, and manage container platforms for application software in vehicles and for complete maintenance computers.
• Commission and manage subcontractors for processing sub-projects.
• Create process-oriented development documentation (e.g., V-Modell XT).
• Implement specified IT security measures.
• Conceive and orchestrate container environments.
