Job summary
Medtronic is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to ensure the health, observability, and maintainability of their production environment. The role involves working with cloud-native technologies, implementing infrastructure delivery practices, and participating in incident response and reliability improvements.
Qualifications
- 0 - 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent role
- Experience with observability platform lifecycle management
- Strong experience with AWS services and streaming frameworks
- Monitor availability and performance of environments
- Analyze metrics for root cause analysis of incidents
Responsibilities
- Understand distributed systems, containers, and microservices observability patterns
- Implement Terraform and GitOps practices for infrastructure delivery
- Troubleshoot production incidents and participate in post-mortems
- Collaborate with internal and external partners
- Integrate observability tools into CI/CD pipelines
- Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews
