Software Development Engineering Intern - Infrastructure (DevOps) - 12 Months

Job summary

Super.com is seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Intern with 4-16 months of experience to join their team. This role involves working with cutting-edge infrastructure tools to accelerate development, improve developer happiness, and contribute to cost savings. The internship is for the Fall Term: September 8th, 2026 - August 28th, 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience and comfort with POSIX-based operating systems
• Experience with Docker and understanding of its purpose
• Knowledge of networked services in the cloud (VPC, IP, TCP, DNS, HTTP)
• Desire to automate repetitive manual processes
• Ability to identify and eliminate waste (money, time, CPU cycles)
• Ability to learn quickly, regardless of languages and technologies

Responsibilities

• Work with infrastructure tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and Istio
• Accelerate development with faster, safer, and more frequent deploys
• Improve developer happiness and productivity with better development tools and workflows
• Contribute to cost savings initiatives and optimizations
• Catch errors and performance issues early with automated monitoring and alerting
