Software Engineer DevOps (m/w/d)

Job summary

MVTec Software GmbH is seeking a Software Engineer DevOps to enhance their Internal Development Platform (IDP) for product development.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or software development
• Solid knowledge in automating development and build processes and using CI/CD tools
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools, ideally Ansible
• Proficient in Linux and Windows environments
• Experience in IT administration is a plus
• Familiarity with modern software development processes and tools
• Ability to advise development teams and understand requirements
• Self-driven and responsible for advancing topics and technical development

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate key components of the Internal Development Platform for product development
• Enhance and modernize CI/CD landscape based on Jenkins, Ansible, and Docker
• Build and develop observability solutions with Grafana and related technologies
• Establish and manage a central artifact management system with Artifactory
• Maintain hardware, virtualization, and server infrastructure for the Development Platform
• Support platform operations, analyze disruptions, and ensure system reliability
• Advise development teams on CI/CD, DevOps, and automation topics
• Collaborate with product development teams on efficient development, build, test, and release processes
