Job summary

Take a central role in the development and operation of the system for automated processing of election and voting data, shaping the CI/CD infrastructure within a motivated team.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or comparable education with practical experience in operating and developing complex IT systems
  • Strong knowledge of Python, especially in developing and maintaining applications with Flask and Gunicorn
  • Good knowledge of Linux, Podman or Docker, CI/CD, and GitHub-based workflows
  • Experience with monitoring and logging solutions and PostgreSQL; knowledge of Apache Camel, NAS, or S3 is a plus
  • Active knowledge of an official language and good English skills

Responsibilities

  • Operate containerized applications on Linux and manage multi-container environments
  • Build a self-hosted CI/CD infrastructure and establish automated build, test, and deployment processes
  • Develop and operate existing Python applications and microservices, translate SAS scripts into Python
  • Ensure monitoring and logging with Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki, and maintain dashboards
  • Operate and develop PostgreSQL databases, integration components, and storage solutions (NAS, S3)
  • Implement systematic tests and create documentation
