Job summary

The Software Engineer III – DevOps/AWS Engineer role involves designing and delivering secure, scalable technology products within the Payments Technology team. Responsibilities include developing high-quality production code, driving the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices, and building data pipelines on Databricks using Spark and Delta. The position requires expertise in AWS services, CI/CD tools, and container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
• Strong CI/CD and release management experience
• Hands-on DevOps experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Deep AWS platform experience across compute, storage, networking, security, provisioning, and automation
• Infrastructure provisioning expertise using Terraform
• Administer, optimize, and support Linux-based environments
• Database experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and remediate issues using Splunk and observability platforms
• Proficient with engineering workflow tools such as Git, BitBucket, Jira, and ServiceNow
