Software Engineer III - DevOps/DevSecOps

Job summary

The DevSecOps Software Engineer III role is centered on deploying, configuring, and maintaining software development for space systems. Responsibilities include designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing Kubernetes deployments, and utilizing secure infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Ansible, while ensuring compliance and security throughout the development lifecycle.

• proficient in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
• experience designing CI/CD pipelines (preferably using GitHub or GitLab)
• hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible
• proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• experience with Windows and Linux software development
• ability to identify bottlenecks in software development and create solutions to increase efficiency
• strong understanding of security and software development best practices and principles
• experience with additional DevSecOps tools and methodologies
• familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• experience with logging and monitoring tools (ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana)
• experience deploying and configuring GitLab and Artifactory
• experience with C/C++ build tools
• excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• strong communication and teamwork skills
