Job summary

GSK Stockmann is seeking a Software and Platform Engineer to develop and maintain Legal-Tech and AI applications on Microsoft Azure.

Qualifications

• Degree in (Business) Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of practical experience as a Software Engineer, Platform Engineer, or DevOps Engineer with responsibility for production systems
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and experience in building and securing productive cloud applications
• Proficient in CI/CD, automated build, test, and deployment pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code, ideally with GitHub Actions and Bicep or Terraform
• Solid programming experience with Python and/or TypeScript and experience in API development and automation solutions
• Knowledge of Azure Security and Cloud Governance, including Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, logging, monitoring, and networking fundamentals
• Experience with containerized applications or modern Azure deployment models like Azure Container Apps, App Service, Functions, or AKS
• Strong understanding of reliable production operations, including observability, error analysis, documentation, and backup strategies
• Interest in AI applications and ideally practical experience with Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG architectures, or prompt engineering
• Independent, structured, and pragmatic work style with a willingness to take responsibility in a small team

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate internal Legal-Tech and AI applications from conception to production
• Build APIs, automations, data integrations, and user-friendly internal tools using Python and/or TypeScript
• Develop reusable standards for Microsoft Azure, deployment, security, monitoring, and reliable operation
• Automate infrastructure and environments with Infrastructure as Code, especially with Bicep or Terraform, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
• Integrate modern AI technologies like Azure OpenAI, LLMs, and agent-based systems into practical use cases
• Contribute to architectural decisions, analyze technical issues, and ensure maintainable, scalable applications
• Collaborate closely with Legal Professionals to translate requirements into pragmatic technical solutions
