Job summary

msg nexinsure ag is seeking a Software Developer for DevOps & Cloud/SaaS to join their Technical Product Architecture team. The role involves implementing strategic requirements, supporting the cloud-based operation of the msg.Insurance Suite, and developing concepts and products to ensure a stable, secure, and scalable cloud environment. The position offers work with technologies like Container-Images, Kubernetes, and Helm, focusing on modern DevOps principles.

• Successfully completed studies in Computer Science or a comparable field, or relevant system technical training/qualification/professional experience.
• Current knowledge and in-depth experience in Cloud and SaaS, preferably with AWS.
• Experience in scripting languages (Linux-Shell, Groovy), Docker, HELM, and Kubernetes.
• Basic understanding of build processes and tools (Jenkins, Maven, Nexus).
• Integration of security aspects in design and implementation (Secure by Design).
• Ideally, a DevOps background.
• Experience in IT service companies and/or IT projects in software development and release creation.
• Strong team orientation, independence, confident demeanor, and high communication skills.
• Good German and English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategic requirements from DevOps and Cloud/SaaS.
• Support cloud-based operations of msg.Insurance Suite.
• Develop concepts, standard procedures, and products.
• Enable stable, secure, and scalable operation of msg.Insurance Suite in the cloud.
• Work with Container-Images, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Address Observability (Logging, Monitoring, Tracing), Scaling, Resource Dimensioning, Batch Processing, and Security.
• Develop and maintain solutions following modern DevOps principles.
