Job summary

Bertrandt is seeking a DevOps Engineer to develop technology architectures and migration scenarios, drive development, test, and production environments in the Cloud (AWS), and ensure stable operation of cloud applications. The role involves working with key stakeholders and team members on cross-divisional topics.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, ideally in large IT programs
• Proficient in common software development methods and tools
• Several years of experience as a Software Developer or DevOps Engineer in JAVA/Spring Boot for enterprise applications
• Experience operating legacy components in a cloud environment
• Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, Gitlab-CI-Pipelines or similar)
• Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift (ideally AWS EKS)
• Experience with Linux, Docker, and Bash-Scripting
• Knowledge of development with Kafka
• Experience with cloud-based monitoring systems (e.g., Instana, Graylog, ELK-Stack)
• Very good German language skills, written and spoken
