Job summary
The role designs and evolves a GenAI platform that supports AI use cases across business areas and helps improve banking services. Responsibilities include defining platform architecture for data ingestion, LLMOps, APIs, and integration with existing systems; guiding development teams; and aligning solutions with business, IT security, and regulatory requirements. The platform uses OpenAI and Azure AI services, Azure, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications
- Several years of experience architecting and implementing complex IT or cloud platforms, ideally AI or data platforms.
- Strong expertise in system design and integration patterns, including microservices, event-driven architecture, and API architecture.
- In-depth understanding and experience with LLM and LLMOps implementations, including model deployment, pipeline orchestration, and platform operations.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and container orchestration such as Kubernetes.
- Ability to evaluate on-premises and cloud solutions, considering Swiss data residency and highly regulated environments.
- Ability to document and communicate technical topics clearly and facilitate complex discussions with diverse stakeholders.
- Very good written and spoken German and English.
Responsibilities
- Design the GenAI platform's overall architecture, including data ingestion, LLMOps, APIs, and integration with existing banking systems.
- Plan and lead implementation of platform requirements and oversee ongoing development and optimization.
- Review designs, guide development teams on architecture patterns, and select technologies and tools to support scalability and maintainability.
- Align business requirements with system architecture, IT security, and existing platform architecture.
- Support technical planning and coordination, and resolve dependencies with other teams.
- Assess new AI and machine learning technologies, frameworks, and tools.
