Job summary
The Solutions Platform Engineer is responsible for building and managing the technical infrastructure that supports the Solutions Group. This role involves owning demo environments, creating self-service sandboxes for partners, and automating processes to enhance efficiency for Sales Engineers. Key technologies include Atlassian Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes, with a focus on collaboration with Engineering and DevOps teams to transition prototypes into production.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or systems engineering
- Hands-on experience administering and provisioning Atlassian Cloud and/or Data Center environments
- Experience building and operating self-service sandbox or demo environments
- Strong experience with infrastructure automation, scripting such as Python or Bash
- Practical experience with containerization and orchestration technologies
- Experience taking ownership of existing tools or prototypes
- Strong written communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively
Responsibilities
- Own the demo estate end to end
- Build and maintain self-service sandbox environments
- Design and implement automation
- Maintain the technical knowledge base
- Run the Instance Optimization inventory extract
- Take ownership of field-built prototypes
- Define and enforce technical graduation criteria
- Monitor demo environment health
