Bull is seeking a Sovereign Platform Engineer - Confidential Computing to build secure cloud and AI platforms using confidential computing technologies. The role involves evaluating emerging technologies, designing Kubernetes-based platforms, and ensuring sensitive data protection while collaborating with various teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in platform engineering or related domains
• Experience with R&D and product organizations
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Linux
• Experience with cloud orchestration and systems engineering
• Practical development experience in Go, Rust, Python, or C/C++

Responsibilities

• Build and industrialize confidential computing platforms
• Design and implement Kubernetes-based platforms
• Embed security-by-design principles
• Apply Zero Trust principles
• Define reference architectures for sovereign cloud environments
• Design lifecycle management and automation capabilities
• Build prototypes and proofs of concept
• Contribute to sovereign platform and DPU technology roadmaps
• Develop platform components and tooling
• Transform experimental concepts into validated assets
• Evaluate hardware/software integration
• Benchmark and optimize platform performance
• Assess security versus performance trade-offs
• Provide data-driven recommendations
• Work with Kubernetes, KVM, QEMU, and related technologies
• Troubleshoot and improve components across the stack
• Contribute integrations and enhancements
• Translate security capabilities into platform services
• Collaborate with Cloud Distinguished Architects and customer teams
• Support definition and prioritization of use cases
