Specialist Platform Engineering OpenShift (m/w/d)

Job summary

As a Platform Engineer, you will be part of the OpenShift team, responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining the OpenShift platform with a focus on automation and stability.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in operating or engineering complex IT, cloud, or platform environments.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms, ideally Red Hat OpenShift.
• Experience in operating and developing productive platforms.
• Strong skills in analyzing and resolving complex technical issues.
• Good knowledge of Linux and understanding of underlying infrastructure components.
• Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and develop the OpenShift platform.
• Engineer and integrate platform components in Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Manage the complete platform lifecycle, implement updates and develop automation.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues within the platform.
• Collaborate on concepts to improve availability, scalability, security, and stability.
• Work closely with infrastructure, network, storage, and security teams.
