Job summary
As an IT specialist, you will work in the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) department, focusing on connectivity within the Intranet Container Platform (ICP) based on Kubernetes. You will be responsible for the provision and further development of the ICP, conceptualizing and developing technical solutions, and ensuring system availability and security. The role involves working in an agile and self-organized team.

Qualifications
- University degree or comparable qualification (preferred fields: Computer Science, Business Informatics)
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- In-depth knowledge in software solution development and/or operation and infrastructure (Kubernetes, Ingress/Egress, Network Policies, Container Network Interface (CNI), Service Mesh (Istio), Networking, Load-Balancing, HTTP-Standards)
- Profound knowledge in troubleshooting software solutions and/or infrastructures
- Profound knowledge of programming languages and/or in adapting software solutions and infrastructures (Certificates/x509 (CertManager, External Secrets Operator), Cloud Native environment, Container and Kubernetes technologies)
Responsibilities
- Enable provision and further development of the Intranet Container Platform (ICP)
- Responsible for ICP connectivity components
- Conceive and develop technical solutions in collaboration with infrastructure, platform, and development teams
- Provide knowledge transfer and support to development teams regarding ICP and tools
- Continuous training in Kubernetes networking
- Analyze system requirements and performance data for optimization
- Develop, update, and monitor software
- Ensure system availability and security
- Identify and resolve system problems
