Job summary

The Senior DevOps Specialist designs and operates Azure infrastructure and deployment systems for SaaS products, enabling development teams to build, release, and run applications reliably. The role manages Terraform infrastructure across environments and regions, maintains Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy pipelines, troubleshoots production incidents using Azure monitoring and KQL, and supports security, disaster recovery, performance, and cloud cost optimization.

• At least 5 years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience and strong Azure expertise, including App Services, VM Scale Sets, Azure SQL, networking, API Management, WAF, and Key Vault.
• Experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines using YAML and reusable templates, plus release automation with Octopus Deploy or similar.
• Strong Terraform infrastructure-as-code experience, including module design, remote state, and versioning.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows servers, Git, Docker, and scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Understanding of Azure networking and security, including private endpoints, DNS, NSGs, WAF, RBAC, and secrets management.
• Experience with Azure monitoring and observability tools, including Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and KQL, and with alert design.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for distributed systems and multi-tenant SaaS platforms, including L3 production incident handling.
• Excellent spoken and written French and English.
• Relevant product development experience.
• Preferred: experience building VM images with Packer, managing CI build agents, .NET build and release pipelines, NuGet publishing, performance and load testing, or disaster recovery testing.
• Kubernetes experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to streamline SaaS application development, release, and operations.
• Manage Azure infrastructure as code with Terraform modules across environments and regions.
• Build and maintain Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy CI/CD pipelines and shared templates for .NET services, libraries, and configuration packages.
• Diagnose production issues using Application Insights and Log Analytics with KQL.
• Manage access controls, security compliance, code scanning, and secure pipeline practices.
• Monitor and optimize performance, availability, and security; develop proactive recommendations and alerts.
• Provide L3 on-call escalation and incident response; contribute to root cause analysis documentation.
• Plan and test disaster recovery across Azure regions.
• Optimize cloud usage to reduce operating costs.
