Job summary

MANNARINO Systems & Software Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Specialist to administer and support engineering tools and platforms in Windows, Unix/Linux, and virtualized environments.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in administering Windows, Unix/Linux, and virtualized environments.
• Proficiency in Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira, and Artifactory.
• Practical experience with automation using Ansible.
• Good knowledge of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and software delivery best practices.
• Experience in supporting and administering engineering platforms and development environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in incident management, service requests, and escalations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a global and multi-site environment.
• Strong organizational skills and customer orientation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support engineering tools and platforms in Windows, Unix/Linux, and virtualized environments.
• Manage CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira, and Artifactory.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible playbooks and automation solutions.
• Provide user support and resolve incidents, service requests, and technical issues.
• Write and maintain technical and user documentation.
• Train and assist users in using engineering tools and processes.
• Monitor support activity performance and ensure efficient request handling.
• Promote synergy between engineering teams in North America and internationally.
• Gather and analyze business needs to translate them into suitable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, technical experts, and stakeholders to recommend optimal solutions.
• Participate in the deployment and lifecycle management of engineering platforms and workshops.
• Manage escalations, recurring issues, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain environment mapping, inventories, configurations, and associated documentation.
• Produce reports and performance indicators related to incidents, requests, and support activities.
