Job summary

Join a new team in Montreal to develop infrastructure and governance practices for AI solutions. You will be responsible for designing automated pipelines, managing models, and optimizing performance across various environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience in deploying and operating machine learning or AI systems.
• Strong software development and automation skills.
• Good understanding of monitoring, reliability, security, and production management practices.
• Knowledge of model packaging, inference services, and artifact management.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated pipelines for model development, evaluation, packaging, publishing, and deployment.
• Enable reliable execution of models in cloud, containerized, on-premises, edge, and disconnected environments.
• Establish model registries and mechanisms for artifact management, traceability, version control, and production oversight.
• Create reproducible development and evaluation environments.
• Implement monitoring for model quality, latency, availability, resource consumption, and costs.
• Automate security analysis, dependency management, testing, and policy application.
• Implement controlled processes for transitioning models and prompts between development, testing, and production environments.
• Support inference workloads on GPU and CPU, optimizing performance, resource usage, and costs.
• Develop rollback, fallback, and incident response mechanisms for reliable product operation.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams and responsible AI specialists.
