Parsons is seeking a talented Sr. Cloud Automation Engineer to design and automate public cloud environments (Azure and AWS) and connect them to on-prem enterprise environments. This role involves developing Infrastructure as Code, maintaining git repositories, and providing technical guidance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience and knowledge of public cloud (Azure and AWS).
- Ability to automate with Infrastructure as Code using ARM, CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Python, PowerShell.
- Cross-functional IT expertise in storage, network, and database infrastructure.
- Strong experience with both Windows and Linux servers.
- Experience with public cloud compute and storage technologies (Azure Disk, Blob, Files; AWS EBS, EFS, S3).
- Experience with public cloud networking architecture (Azure vNet, load balancers, Virtual WAN, VPN, Express Route; AWS VPC, load balancers, transit gateway, VPN, Direct Connect).
- Experience with public cloud identity and access management methods.
- Excellent documentation, intercommunication, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced organizational and time management skills.
- Good understanding and implementation of ITIL concepts.
- Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence).
- Experience with artifact binary repository management.
- Extensive scripting experience (Bash, Ansible, Python, Groovy, Powershell).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Knowledge of configuration file types (YAML, JSON).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of networking in public cloud.
