Job summary

The Sr. Cloud Engineer is tasked with designing, implementing, and supporting secure and scalable cloud infrastructure across PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS environments. This role involves managing cloud infrastructure projects, evaluating technologies, and ensuring compliance with policies while delivering exceptional customer service. Proficiency in major cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure is essential, along with experience in mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of major Cloud vendors infrastructures, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure
  • Knowledge of PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and their impact on design strategies
  • Experience supporting 24x7 Mission Critical systems
  • Knowledge of project planning and control
  • Five years of experience in cloud-based systems management
  • Ten years related experience without certifications
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure systems design and architecture
  • Cloud-based automation tools preferred
  • Azure Virtual Desktop preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure across PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS environments
  • Lead cloud architecture, installation, configuration, upgrades, and performance optimization
  • Evaluate cloud technologies and infrastructure solutions
  • Manage cloud infrastructure projects by planning and delivering implementations
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure standards and security policies
  • Monitor cloud performance and provide optimization recommendations
  • Partner with stakeholders and vendors to implement solutions
  • Research emerging cloud technologies and industry trends
  • Support cloud infrastructure budgeting and resource planning
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance
