SmartBroker is seeking an experienced Data Platform Engineer to enhance their cloud-based data platform for business analytics and insights.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in data engineering
• Hands-on experience designing and operating data pipelines on cloud platforms
• Advanced knowledge of cloud networking and security
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code
• Understanding of software engineering best practices
• Excellent SQL and programming skills in Python, including Airflow and PySpark
• Knowledge of data streaming technologies
• Excellent English communication skills, German is a plus
• Interest in finance and fintech industry

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve cloud-based data platform for analytics and insights
• Build end-to-end data pipelines from raw data ingestion to consumable data
• Implement data quality monitoring for accuracy and reliability
• Architect, code, and deploy data infrastructure components
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts
• Stay updated on market developments in data cloud architecture
