Sr. DevOps Engineer

Job summary

The Senior DevOps Engineer builds and operates secure, highly available infrastructure for mission-critical fintech services in a 50/50 build-and-run role. Responsibilities include automating CI/CD, evolving Terraform infrastructure, owning AWS accounts and Kubernetes clusters, optimizing RDS and MongoDB, and improving observability with Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus. The role supports a 99.9% uptime target and includes a weekly on-call rotation.

• At least 5 years managing high-scale production systems
• Deep knowledge of AWS services, security practices, and account management
• Expert-level Kubernetes and Docker experience
• Proficiency in Terraform and at least one of Python, Go, or Bash
• DevOps knowledge of MySQL/RDS and MongoDB, including scaling, backups, and performance tuning
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD automation flows
• Evolve Terraform infrastructure to be modular and self-service
• Collaborate with backend teams on scalable microservices and datastore performance
• Own AWS accounts and multi-cluster Kubernetes environments
• Manage production environments and support a 99.9% uptime target
• Drive observability using Datadog and Grafana
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation
• Use AI-powered development tools to automate toil and accelerate infrastructure delivery
