Job summary

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines to join our technology team in Montreal. The role involves designing and optimizing cloud platforms, leading deployment automation, and mentoring team members while ensuring system reliability and high availability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or infrastructure-focused roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep.
• Advanced knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes / AKS.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Bash for automation and scripting.
• Solid experience supporting and operating PostgreSQL or other SQL-based databases.
• Strong proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
• Demonstrated experience leading production incidents and driving system reliability improvements.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure and DevOps platforms.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep) for Azure resources.
• Lead the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.
• Define and enforce monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application, data, and AI/ML workloads.
• Manage repositories using Git and enforce best practices in version control.
