Qualifications
- 7+ years relevant experience
- experience as a primary subject matter expert in multiple areas
- interest in enhancing expertise, staying current with emerging industry trends
- experience working on Linux based infrastructure
- experience configuring and managing big data technologies / databases
- experience deploying, managing and operating in a Cloud environment
- awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
- understanding of Python and/or Java or other modern programming languages
Responsibilities
- provide expert advice and lead in system and application administration
- installation, configuration/provisioning, platform planning and design
- integration and release and deployment management
- identify, recommend, source, negotiate and implement solutions
- manage complex application deployment in load-balanced, service-oriented environment
- develop, configure environments from conceptualization through stabilization
- design, implement, maintain an automated build and install/deploy process
- troubleshoot initial failures, coordinate resolution efforts and communicate
- develop and recommend technical strategies and solutions
- ensure systems and operational availability meet or exceed negotiated service levels
