The Sr. Infrastructure Engineer - Distributed Hosting is responsible for the performance, implementation, and engineering of hosting platforms and solutions, focusing on engineering excellence and proactive improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain understanding of business processes and operations
• Build relationships within the organization and with stakeholders
• Monitor and assess health, capacity, and performance of hosting platforms
• Provide technical expertise for Wintel servers, enterprise OS servers, VMware, and storage infrastructure
• Collaborate to design and implement enhancements
• Communicate advanced platform standards
• Design and implement backup solutions and disaster recovery strategies
• Establish engineering standards and automation for platform deployment
• Take ownership of complex incident resolution
• Mentor junior engineers
• Lead projects and platform upgrades
• Integrate security controls into platform design
• Contribute to capacity planning and forecasting
• Act as technical lead for infrastructure projects
• Work with operations, security, and application teams
• Maintain documentation of platform configurations and standards
