Job summary

As a Sr Lead Security Engineer at JPM***, you will design, implement, and maintain secure infrastructure solutions that support critical payment and cryptographic operations.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on security engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• 7 or more years of hands-on engineering experience with Hardware Security Modules
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities
• Proficient troubleshooting skills with Linux and Unix administration experience
• Understanding of cryptographic principles, key management, and secure hardware operations
• Experience with OpenSSL and certificate-based authentication mechanisms
• Expertise in public cloud key management services and cloud-based Hardware Security Module solutions
• Proficiency in designing and documenting infrastructure architectures
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and documentation of Hardware Security Module and cryptographic infrastructure
• Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for security risk analysis and documentation
• Design and implement Hardware Security Module solutions, including deployment and lifecycle management
• Develop and maintain architectural diagrams, system documentation, and operational runbooks
• Collaborate with teams to define infrastructure standards and security controls
• Oversee migration, upgrade, and consolidation of Hardware Security Module infrastructure
• Provide guidance on cryptographic key management and compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and Hardware Security Module issues
• Participate in risk assessments, audits, and incident response activities
• Apply AI-assisted practices within SDLC/toolchain routines
• Apply knowledge of payment processes and business resiliency to infrastructure design
