Job summary
Lead the architecture, delivery, and scaling of a payments analytics platform, improving release speed, reliability, and scalability across front-end, back-end, and DevOps. Guide platform modernization and engineering teams while building Java Spring Boot APIs and microservices, React and Next.js interfaces, and Azure-based infrastructure and CI/CD. Partner with product, data, and AI teams to support platform innovation, including AI-driven capabilities.

Qualifications
- At least 10 years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Experience owning end-to-end platform development across front-end, back-end, and infrastructure.
- Experience building responsive, modular interfaces with React, Next.js, and JavaScript ES6+.
- Experience with database design and database versioning or migration tools such as Liquibase.
- Proficiency with Redux Toolkit or equivalent client-side state management libraries.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures; Azure preferred.
- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and scalable system design.
- Track record of improving execution speed and engineering discipline.
- Preferred experience with data platforms, analytics systems, AI/ML product development, payments, fintech, or high-scale data environments.
Responsibilities
- Own the platform architecture, technical roadmap, and end-to-end delivery.
- Lead front-end and back-end development to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot REST APIs and microservices.
- Improve release speed, predictability, and quality.
- Establish CI/CD, testing, code quality, and observability practices.
- Own Azure-based DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and deployment strategy.
- Manage onshore and offshore engineering resources.
- Lead the Architectural Guild Council and guide architecture across engineering teams.
- Align product roadmaps with engineering execution.
- Partner with product, data, AI, and data engineering teams.
