Sr. Robotics Infrastructure Engineer

Job summary

This senior individual-contributor role builds and operates the infrastructure platform for industrial mobile-manipulator robots running AnywareOS. The work spans CI/CD and fleet deployment, on-robot runtime performance, secure AWS fleet services, robot data and ML pipelines, operator and internal web applications, and AI-assisted workflows, with a focus on safely delivering changes to customer robots and diagnosing field failures.

• At least 3 years building and operating production software infrastructure, including CI/CD, Docker, and AWS or GCP; experience with physical, edge, or real-time systems is preferred.
• Strong modern C++ and Python skills.
• Linux system-level debugging and performance profiling experience.
• Knowledge of IPC, networking, shared memory, and concurrency, with the ability to diagnose latency and throughput bottlenecks.
• Daily experience using coding agents and critically reviewing their output.

Responsibilities

• Deliver software to customer robot fleets using CI/CD, Docker images, releases, and deployments.
• Profile and optimize robot services, middleware communication, and compute usage to meet cycle-time budgets.
• Build cloud fleet management services that connect robots to customer warehouse systems on secure AWS infrastructure defined as code.
• Develop robot data pipelines for cloud ingestion, ML training data, and fleet health monitoring.
• Build robot operator HMIs and internal tools for engineering, operations, and field teams.
• Develop AI tools and agentic workflows for engineering and operations across development, deployment, and field work.
