Job summary

The Sr. Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining application infrastructure to ensure reliability, automation, and scalability. Key responsibilities include implementing software for performance improvement, building automation for application management, and collaborating with development teams to enhance the software development lifecycle while ensuring security standards are met.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in effective Incident and Problem Management
• Proven experience in a medium to large scale enterprise
• Strong understanding of scripting languages
• Hands-on experience with modern observability solutions
• Linux systems administration
• Good knowledge of Git
• Experience with security and encryption protocols
• Facilitate collaboration and open communication
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High level of customer responsiveness and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Implement software and tools to improve performance, availability, scalability, and latency
• Build automation and tooling around application management
• Implement and evangelize observability and monitoring systems
• Evaluate application capacity continuously
• Identify performance bottlenecks and troubleshoot with cross-functional teams
• Implement standards across multiple disciplines and systems
• Collaborate with application development teams
• Serve as a technical liaison for the application
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
• Champion excellent processes and develop repeatable patterns
• Support integrity and confidentiality of systems and data
