Redzone is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of their services. The role involves designing resilient systems, automating operational tasks, and leading incident responses while leveraging AI for operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience operating and improving production systems at scale
• Ability to rapidly build accurate mental models of complex distributed systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a methodical, evidence-driven approach
• Experience defining and using SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient systems
• Serve as a subject matter expert for observability
• Develop robust, maintainable software and self-service tooling
• Identify and eliminate operational toil
• Lead incident response and participate in on-call rotations
• Define, implement, and track Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and error budgets
• Leverage infrastructure as code, GitOps practices, and CI/CD automation
• Provide reliability expertise during system design reviews
• Document processes, build runbooks, and mentor engineers
• Leverage AI responsibly to accelerate investigations
