Job summary

The Sr Staff Engineer, Verification (CI/CD & Embedded HW) is responsible for designing, scaling, and hardening CI/CD infrastructure and verification systems for Qua***’s AI Software stack.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in CI/CD engineering or embedded systems.
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools like Buildkite and Jenkins.
  • Experience integrating embedded hardware into pipelines.
  • Background in firmware flashing and device provisioning.
  • Strong scripting in Python, Bash, C/C++.
  • Experience with open‑source verification pipelines.
  • Strong debugging across runtime and driver layers.
  • Ability to influence engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and scale large‑distributed CI/CD systems.
  • Design automated workflows for build, package, deploy, and logging.
  • Develop scheduling layers for HW regression tests.
  • Implement monitoring and automated mitigation for CI stability.
  • Develop embedded target test frameworks across DSP/NPU.
  • Automate flashing, provisioning, and chipset bring‑up.
  • Design hardware‑in‑loop validation for stability and performance.
  • Own coverage strategy for throughput and correctness.
  • Develop automated triage signals and failure classification.
  • Eliminate flakiness in HW test environments.
  • Maintain CI/verification pipelines for projects.
  • Enforce PR gating and artifact management.
  • Influence cross-functional teams with data insights.
  • Lead technical deep‑dives on CI and HW failures.
  • Align infrastructure with program milestones.
  • Produce documentation for CI architecture and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement in HW testing workflows.
