Job summary
The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, operation, security, maintenance, and optimization of classified information systems supporting Department of Defense and Air Force mission requirements.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Minimum 8–10 years of systems administration experience.
- Minimum 3 years supporting SCI and/or SAP environments.
- Extensive experience administering Windows and Linux systems.
- Experience supporting classified DoD information systems.
- Experience implementing RMF and DISA STIG requirements.
- Experience with enterprise virtualization technologies.
- Experience with automation frameworks and scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, administer, and maintain Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Manage Active Directory, GPOs, LDAP, IdM, DNS, DHCP, and authentication services.
- Administer enterprise server infrastructure for mission-critical applications.
- Configure and maintain physical and virtual server environments.
- Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of systems.
- Monitor system health, availability, and performance.
- Perform capacity planning and infrastructure optimization.
- Develop and maintain system architecture documentation.
- Support classified networks within SCI and SAP environments.
- Maintain system availability, integrity, and compliance.
- Implement secure network configurations and hardening measures.
- Troubleshoot complex system and network issues.
- Support government inspections and accreditation activities.
- Implement and maintain RMF controls.
- Execute DISA STIG implementation.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation.
- Analyze findings from ACAS, Nessus, HBSS, Splunk, SCAP.
- Develop and maintain System Security Plans.
- Support cybersecurity audits and inspections.
- Manage certificates and cryptographic solutions.
