Job summary

The Senior Systems Administrator at OpenText is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise observability and monitoring stacks across hybrid/cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with enterprise Observability and Monitoring platforms
• Strong expertise in NNMi
• Deep knowledge of Zabbix architecture
• Proven Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience
• Strong Linux, Kubernetes, networking knowledge
• Expertise in automation using Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible
• Solid understanding of ITIL v3/v4, governance, GDPR
• Foundational knowledge of AI/ML concepts
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise monitoring platforms
• Define and implement monitoring strategies, SLIs/SLOs, and alerting standards
• Act as the primary engineering escalation point
• Manage the deployment, upgrades, lifecycle, and overall health of monitoring infrastructure
• Drive automation using Python, Bash, Terraform, and Ansible
• Maintain monitoring data pipelines, exporters, collectors, discovery rules
• Provide 24/7 Tier-3 support
• Leverage AI-driven capabilities
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation
