Job summary

This Site Reliability Engineering and DevOps role supports reliable, scalable services for cloud-based development, with a focus on new AI development. Responsibilities include guiding production Kubernetes deployments, advancing GitHub Actions CI/CD, managing Datadog observability, and applying AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, and Model Context Protocol to operational workflows. The role also establishes cloud security guardrails across AWS and Azure.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering experience across AWS and Azure.
• Production experience operating Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency administering Linux and Windows.
• Enterprise experience supporting IIS/.NET applications and Java Spring Boot services.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, primarily with GitHub Actions, incorporating security scans, policy-as-code, and compliance gates.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with IAM, secrets management, and container or image scanning.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, DNS, and APM or telemetry tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of reliable, scalable, mission-critical services.
• Guide teams on Kubernetes and modern deployment patterns.
• Advance service builds, DevOps tooling, and operational excellence.
• Govern GitHub Actions CI/CD with quality gates, canary and blue-green deployments, and AI-assisted redeploy checks.
• Manage Datadog observability, including SLIs, SLOs, dashboards, alerting, and Microsoft Teams integrations.
• Reduce incidents through telemetry-driven automation and blameless postmortems.
• Apply AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, and MCP to operational workflows, with adoption guardrails.
• Define and enforce cloud security controls, including IAM boundaries, OPA policies, tagging, and centralized logging.
