The SRE Engineer - Azure will ensure the reliability, operation, security, and evolution of customer Azure platforms.

Qualifications

• Desirable – Azure certification or working towards
• Hands-on experience with Azure services in production and non-production environments
• Understanding of DevOps/SRE and CI/CD principles with experience in IAC tools
• Understanding of modern industry practices and their application
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
• Effective communication in business and technical contexts
• Confidence with complexity and the unfamiliar
• Passion for technology and improving offerings

Responsibilities

• Ensure ongoing platform operation, security, reliability, efficiency, and governance
• Support development and engineering teams in building scalable solutions
• Deliver and support production and non-production systems in Azure
• Improve operational processes and tooling for system management
• Develop and maintain automated tooling for deployment and configuration management
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning
• Support Azure migration projects and managed service onboarding
• Ensure 24/7 availability of production systems
• Participate in incident management and post-mortem activities
• Identify and implement system performance improvements
• Provide guidance and training on SRE/DevOps best practices
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Collaborate with teams to meet reliability and availability goals
