Job summary
The SRE Engineer will contribute to the development and implementation of AI-driven processes within the Belastingdienst, working in a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Recent, demonstrable practical experience with the Belastingdienst GAP and related environments (e.g., OpenShift, AI Gateway, inference)
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with cloud-native platform management: Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift (including Helm)
- Ensure process quality and reliability (clean, testable code; resolve production issues; improve system reliability)
- Experience as a software engineer/developer responsible for production deployment (minimum 4 years)
- Experience monitoring quality/reliability of systems in production (minimum 2 years)
- Demonstrable experience within the governance/production context of the Belastingdienst
Responsibilities
- Develop and operationalize generative AI components within the Belastingdienst context
- Ensure alignment between platform teams, stream-aligned teams, and consuming workflows
- Take responsibility for application-specific privacy, data usage, risk assessment, DevOps/SRE principles, observability, incident management, and correct application of platform components
