SRE Engineering Manager

GitGuardian is seeking an SRE Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for providing a scalable and reliable platform for code security solutions. The role involves managing infrastructure, ensuring security compliance, and mentoring team members while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering/computer science
• Minimum 2 years experience in a management position
• Embrace DevOps philosophy with a focus on Observability, Automation, and Data durability
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of nix systems
• Experience with web applications/SaaS and their SDLC
• Comfortable with agile project management and OKRs
• Fluency in AI agentic development
• Fluent in French and English

Responsibilities

• Ensure infrastructure aligns with customer needs and SLA/SLO requirements
• Deploy and maintain a monitoring policy for technical and business KPIs
• Manage and evolve services to meet company goals
• Follow and deploy security best practices
• Implement SOC2 compliance
• Conduct security reviews for customers
• Continuously improve security standards
• Ensure regional data compliance
• Maintain backup policy for critical data
• Participate in Cloud Cost optimization
• Assist developers with application incidents and architecture choices
• Document infrastructure, processes, and security
• Support Sales teams in customer calls related to SRE
• Build technical strategy for platform development
• Define quarterly goals and manage agile/scrum organization
• Mentor team members for progression
• Prioritize team workload based on goals and urgencies
• Define and implement internal and cross-team processes
• Design systems to enhance service availability, scalability, and efficiency
• Manage on-call rotation
