The SRE Lead role focuses on designing and leading reliability engineering initiatives within banking and payments, establishing standards and practices to enhance resilience and reduce incidents. Key responsibilities include leading SRE strategy, automation, and observability, while leveraging technologies such as Dynatrace and Splunk to improve operational efficiency and reliability across complex environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in all 4 Key Pillars of Site Reliability Engineering
• Demonstrate flexibility and navigate ambiguity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Transformation leader in data-driven reliability engineering
• Led SRE transformation in a large regulated enterprise
• Implemented SLO/SLI/error-budget frameworks at scale
• Show tangible reductions in incidents, MTTR, operational toil, and reliability risk
• Influenced senior executives on reliability measurement and funding
• Think in terms of engineering reliability, not production support
• SRE experience with problem-solving beyond hands-on engineering

Responsibilities
