Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in SRE, Observability Engineering, or platform infrastructure roles.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in building scalable solutions.
• Hands-on experience in observability tools and stacks.
• Understanding of SLIs, SLOs, Error Budgets, and telemetry best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot integration issues across hybrid platforms.
• Experience building dashboards aligned to business outcomes.
• Familiarity with modern observability tooling ecosystems.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Experience in enablement or platform teams with a track record of scaling best practices.

Responsibilities

• Define the roadmap for Engineering enablers for Project Orion team.
• Translate Organization strategy into an actionable delivery plan.
• Understand Critical Business Services functional scope for monitoring solutions.
• Deliver against the observability roadmap by building telemetry solutions.
• Review and analyze application monitoring TOIL and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain dashboards for critical client journeys.
• Guide teams in implementing SLIs/SLOs and effective alerting.
• Support integration and adoption of observability tooling across environments.
• Customize dashboards and observability components for usability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to SREs and developers.
• Manage the observability book of work and drive initiatives.
• Serve as a connection point between line-of-business SREs and infrastructure functions.
• Stay current with observability trends and assess their applicability.
• Maintain knowledge of observability platform features and vendor offerings.
• Foster AI adoption by building use cases using Citi AI tech stack.
