Job summary
The Site Reliability Engineer will help maintain the availability, performance, resilience, and scalability of a SaaS data platform serving more than 200 clients. The role includes incident investigation, observability, operational automation, and performance and load testing in a distributed, multicloud environment using technologies such as Linux, Kubernetes, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Prometheus, Grafana, and GitLab CI/CD.

Qualifications
- Initial experience in DevOps, SRE, cloud, or infrastructure; internships and work-study placements count.
- Working knowledge of Linux, containers, and Kubernetes.
- Basic observability knowledge, such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Initial experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitLab.
- Interest in development and automation using Go, Rust, Python, or equivalent.
- Curiosity about diagnosing distributed systems.
- Team-oriented and eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Help ensure the availability, performance, resilience, and scalability of the SaaS platform.
- Investigate and resolve incidents, participate in postmortems, and track corrective actions.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability across metrics, logs, and traces.
- Automate repetitive tasks and operational procedures.
- Expand automated performance, load, and regression test coverage.
- Write and maintain runbooks and incident-management procedures.
- Support the transition from an Azure-only infrastructure toward an environment including GCP and Snowflake.
- Collaborate with developers, support, and consulting teams to improve software quality and diagnose issues.
