Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for backend platform
• Drive cross-functional initiatives across engineering teams
• Define and evolve engineering standards for backend service design
• Identify reliability, scalability, and performance risks
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers
• Represent backend platform in technical strategy discussions
• Build and ship production code
