Job summary
Develop and operate private and public cloud services that provide reliable, scalable access to large-scale AI compute. The role extends OpenStack services, automates infrastructure deployment, improves fleet observability, and benchmarks and optimises systems across AI hardware, servers, switches, and storage. It works closely with datacentre operations, product development, engineering, and QA to turn hardware and software into production-ready services.

Qualifications
- Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven ability to scope and deliver technical infrastructure work.
- Experience operating on-premises or private-cloud environments.
- Strong Linux system administration and scripting skills, including Bash and Python.
- Hands-on infrastructure-as-code deployment experience with Terraform or OpenTofu, Ansible, or Packer.
- Understanding of virtualisation, virtual networks, block storage, monitoring, and observability.
- Experience with Git, CI or testing pipelines, and container tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy private and public cloud services for AI compute.

- Automate infrastructure deployment using infrastructure-as-code.
- Improve observability across the fleet.
- Benchmark, validate, and optimise systems spanning AI hardware, servers, switches, and storage.
