Job summary
A Staff DevOps Engineer sets the technical direction for the software factory supporting cloud-managed SaaS products with on-premises components. The role combines hands-on CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code engineering with release management, supply-chain security, continuous compliance, and internal developer platform development. It also advances guarded agentic automation and mentors engineers across teams.

Qualifications
- At least 8 years of production engineering experience with recent hands-on work
- Recent experience building and operating production-scale CI/CD platforms
- Practical experience configuring pipeline security scanning and resolving vulnerabilities within deadlines
- Experience authoring and testing production infrastructure-as-code modules
- Demonstrated ownership of release, dependency, or vulnerability-management outcomes
- Strong scripting and automation skills with a focus on reducing manual work
Responsibilities
- Own the software-factory roadmap, architecture, and tooling decisions
- Embed security scanning and policy enforcement throughout CI/CD pipelines
- Operate release trains, release gates, and expedited hotfix pipelines
- Automate dependency updates, generate SBOMs, and verify artifact provenance
- Build self-service internal developer platform capabilities
- Write and test production infrastructure-as-code modules
- Operate vulnerability scanning and maintain continuous audit evidence
- Build and operate guarded agentic workflows for pipeline triage, dependency orchestration, and routine support
- Mentor engineers and establish engineering standards
